Gabriel Flores Viramontes, Chairman of the local chapter of Mexican Processing Industry Chamber (Camara de la Industria de la Transformacion – Canacintra) said that Ciudad Juarez has a huge potential in maquiladora industry and that medical supplies are no exception. He said that this City has always been leader and that technology used in maquiladora industry is state-of-the-art. Tomas Mena Sanchez, Chairman of Maquiladoras Association, said that in Ciudad Juarez medical products of the highest quality are produced, using the most advanced technology. Manufacturing of medical products is not the only contribution made by this City to healthcare of people all over the world, because at this border city medical products are also designed, molds are made and subassembly and packing are performed.
